Hi, I'm Lisa, a biology student from Germany who loves to travel and bake. While traveling, I like to sample local baked goods such as matcha swiss rolls in Japan, macarons in France and let's not forget about the gift to humanity that is the chocolate dip donut sold by Tim Horton's in Canada.
As for baking, I simply find it very calming and enjoy experimenting with different ingredients. I generally follow the motto "It's not a cake if it doesn't contain any chocolate", however I do make a couple of exceptions every once in a while. ;) I hope you enjoy trying my recipes and please let me know if you have any suggestions as I am by no means a professional baker! :)
